Rooted in Tradition,
Growing in Auckland

The Auckland Pipe Band College Trust Incorporated was established as a charitable trust to do something profound: preserve and pass on one of the world's most powerful musical traditions to a new generation growing up in New Zealand's largest city.

"The skirl of the pipes carries centuries of culture. Our mission is to ensure that sound never falls silent in Auckland."

Operating across Northland and Auckland, we provide tuition in Highland piping and drumming for children and young people, enriching the arts, culture, and heritage of our community. Incorporated under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, we are proudly registered with Charities Services New Zealand.

"Hearing the pipes for the first time, something ancient stirred in me. This programme gave my son not just music — it gave him heritage, discipline, and pride in something greater than himself."

— A Parent, Titirangi Auckland

"I had never imagined an Auckland kid could learn to play the bagpipes properly. Now my daughter plays at community events and I see her confidence soar every single time."

— A Parent, West Auckland

"Highland music is one of the world's most unique art forms. That it's being nurtured right here in Tāmaki Makaurau, for our young people — that's genuinely extraordinary."
